Why Hoof Trimming?
Hoof trimming is essential for an animal's health, helping to prevent lameness, promote even weight distribution, and reduce the risk of infections. Regular trimming in young cattle ensures proper hoof development throughout their lifespan. On average, hooves should be trimmed two to three times a year, depending on hoof health and growth rate. Severely overgrown hooves may require additional trimming sessions to restore them to a healthy and comfortable state.
